Privacy Policy

This site is run by Aidan Edwards and exists to publish the podcast Conversations w/ Aidan Edwards. The short version of this policy: cwapod.com is a plain static website. It has no accounts, no login, no shopping cart, no contact form and no advertising trackers. I do not build a profile of you, and I have nothing to sell about you.
What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you personally. There are no forms on this site, so there is no way for you to submit your name, email address, or any other personal detail to me through it. I do not set cookies, and I do not run analytics or advertising scripts.
Standard server logs
Like every website, cwapod.com is served by a hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) which keeps short-lived technical logs for security and reliability. These typically include the IP address making the request, the time of the request, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. I use this only in aggregate to know whether the site is up and working. Cloudflare's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The embedded Spotify player
The homepage includes one embedded Spotify player so you can listen to the latest episode without leaving the page. That player is loaded from Spotify, and once it loads, Spotify may set its own cookies and receive technical data about your visit — the same as if you had opened Spotify directly. I do not receive any of that information, and I cannot see who listens or for how long. Spotify's policy is at spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy. The player only loads when you scroll to it.
Links to other services
This site links out to Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Buy Me a Coffee. Once you click one of those links you are on someone else's website, under their privacy policy and their terms. I have no control over and no visibility into what they collect. Nothing on this site passes your information to them.
Podcast listening data
If you listen on Spotify, YouTube or any other podcast app, that platform gives me aggregate statistics — things like total plays, rough country, and average listen duration. That comes to me as counts and charts, not as a list of people. I cannot see individual listeners.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Your rights
Because I do not collect or store personal data through this website, there is generally nothing for me to access, correct, export or delete on request. If you believe I hold information about you and want it removed, reach out by DM on Instagram and I will deal with it.
Changes to this policy
If I ever add something that does collect data — an email list, a comment section, analytics — I will update this page and change the date at the top before turning it on.
